Lithuania posts EU's highest annul industrial growth in Jan

Print versionithuania in January posted the highest annual industrial grwoth rate in the European Union, figures from the EU statistical office Eurostat showed on Tuesday.

Lithuania's industrial production increased by 8.4% in January compared with a year earlier.
Latvia recorded a 4.7% annual increase in industrial production and Estonia's output rose by 6.7%.
M-o-m, industrial production increased by 1.9% in Lithuania and edged up by 0.2% in Estonia. Latvia posted a 2.8% decline.
Across the EU, industrial production rose by 1.3% y-o-y and by 0.5% m-o-m.
