Depo DIY remains largest company in construction industry in 2015

Buve was second with EUR 122.5 mln in turnover, followed by joint-stock
construction company UPB - EUR 84.34 mln, construction company Binders - EUR 74.76 mln, cement producer Cemex - EUR 71.16 mln, BMGS S - EUR
67.1 mln, Merks - EUR 65.37 mln, Tirdzniecibas Nams Kursi - EUR 63.44 mln,
state owned joint stock company Latvijas
Autocelu Uzturetajs - EUR 61.9 mln, and joint-stock A.C.B. - EUR 61.85 mln.
According to the Latvian Business Report 2016, profits
earned by companies operating in the construction industry has continued to
reduce - from EUR 155 mln in 2014, to EUR 117 mln last year.
At the same time, the overall turnover of the construction
industry also fell from EUR 5.474 billion in 2014, to EUR 5.208 billion in
2015.
