Avg gross wages up 8.1% in Q2 y-o-y in Lithuania

Print versionAverage gross monthly earnings in Lithuania's economy, excluding sole proprietorships, rose by 8.1 percent in the second quarter of 2016 compared with a year earlier to reach 771.9 euros, Statistics Lithuania information cites LETA/BNS.

Average net monthly
earnings increased by 8.5% year-on-year to 600.8 euros.
Quarter-on-quarter,
gross earnings rose by 3.2% and net earnings were up by 2.9%,
the statistics office said, attributing the quarterly increase to
seasonality, higher one-off bonuses and other payments, and other reasons.
