Lithuania's industrial growth in Nov among highest in EU

Print versionLithuania's industrial production rose by 4.9 % in November from a year ago, one of the highest growth rates in the European Union, figures from the EU statistics office Eurostat showed on Wednesday, reported LETA/BNS.

Latvia recorded a 4.3 % increase, while Estonia posted a 6.2 % decline. In the EU-28, the index went up by 1.4 % year-on-year.
Month-on-month, however, Lithuania registered some of the largest decreases in industrial production, at 2.6 %.
Latvia's production edged up by 0.2 %, while Estonia also registered a monthly decline of 2.6 %.
Across the EU, the index ticked down by 0.6 % over the month.
