Estonia's November HICP grew by 0.5%

The Estonian harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) was 143.9 points in November 2015, 0.5% higher than in November 2014 and 0.3% lower than in October, data of Statistics Estonia show, cites LETA/BNS.

Year over year, prices have fallen the most in the education sector – 11.2%. In transport prices dropped 5.1%.

 

Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose 5.7% and in the footwear sector a rise of 4.1% was recorded.

 

The harmonized index of consumer prices is based on the domestic approach or all purchases made in the territory of Estonia, while CPI is based on the national approach, measuring purchases made by the population of Estonia.
