In October, construction prices in Lithuania decreased by 0.5%

Print versionLithuania informs that in October 2015, compared to September, construction input prices decreased by 0.5%. The change was mainly influenced by a 1.4% decrease in wages and salaries.

Over the month, prices for building materials and products decreased by 0.1%.
The largest decrease in prices was observed for wood products – 0.7%, metal, pipes, windows and doors – 0.2% each, while increase – electrical engineering materials – 0.2%.
Hourly costs of the operation of construction machines and mechanisms increased by just 0.03%.
As for buildings and structures, the largest price drop over the month was observed for the construction of wastewater pipelines – 1.2%. Renovation of buildings went down in price by 0.8%.
