Number of job vacancies in Lithuania grows by 22% in Q3

Print versionThe number of registered job vacancies for salaried employees in Lithuania totaled 14,200 at the end of the third quarter, up by 2,500 vacancies, or 21.7%, from a year earlier, Statistics Lithuania said on Tuesday, cites LETA/BNS.
Quarter-on-quarter, the number of vacancies increased by 800, or 5.7%, the statistics office said.

Most of the vacancies in the third quarter of 2015 were observed in the industry – 3.2 thousand (22.9% of all jobs), in trade – 2300 (16.4%), in public administration and defense and social insurance – 1.6 thousand (11.5%).
