In July, the producer price index of Estonian industrial output decreased

According to Statistics Estonia, in July 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by –0.8% compared to June 2015 and by –3.1% compared to July 2014.

In July, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in mining and in the manufacture of fuel oils and wood products, but also by an increase in prices in the manufacture of electronic products and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.

 

Compared to July 2014, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of electronic products and fuel oils, but also by an increase in prices in mining and in the manufacture of basic metals.

In July 2015, the export price index changed by –0.6% compared to June 2015 and by –4.0% compared to July 2014.

 

In July, compared to the previous month, the prices of oil products, wearing apparel, agricultural and peat products decreased more than average, while the prices of electricity and furniture increased more than average.

 

In July 2015, the import price index changed by –0.6% compared to June 2015 and by –3.2% compared to July 2014.

 

In July, compared to the previous month, the prices of footwear, agricultural products, wearing apparel and oil products decreased more than average, while the prices of electricity and paper and paper products increased more than average.
