Estonia's capital gains 2,000 residents in 7 months

According to the data of the Estonian population register, as of 1 August 2015, 436,576 people lived in Estonia's capital Tallinn, an increase of 2,150 people since the start of the year, the city's press agency Raepress reports, cites LETA.

In July, the number of inhabitants grew by 446.

 

At the beginning of this year, 434,426 people lived in Tallinn.

 

In 2014, the capital's population grew by 4,527 persons – as of January 1, 2014, 429,899 people lived in Tallinn.

 

During 2013, however, the number of residents of Tallinn grew by a total of 10,069 persons – at the start of the year 419,830 people lived in the city.

 

In 2012, the population grew by 3,686 people. In early 2012, 416,144 people lived in the city. Thus, the population of the capital has increased since the beginning of 2012, by 20,432 people.
