Almost a million Latvian residents shop online

Print version993,000 residents of Latvia aged 15 to 74 shop online, which constitutes 76% of all Internet users in Latvia, reports LETA, according to a study by the business consulting company Gemius.

23% of those who shop online make purchases on the Internet almost every month, 35% a few times a year, and 17% – once a year or rarer.
Compared to the previous study carried out a year ago, the number of Internet users who shop online has increased 5%, and the number of those who do not has decreased to 24%.
Furthermore, the study shows that residents 24 to 44 years old make up more than half of all online shoppers in Latvia.
