In Q2, GDP of Latvia rose by 1.2%

In the 2nd quarter of 2015, compared with the 1st quarter of 2015, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) value (seasonally adjusted data) increased by 1.2%, according to flash estimate of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).

In the 2nd quarter of 2015, compared to the corresponding period of 2014, GDP according to seasonally adjusted data has grown by 2.6%. According to seasonally non-adjusted data GDP has risen by 2.7%.

 

The GDP increase was affected by growth in production sectors by 2% and in services sector (without trade) – by 3%.  Value added in trade increased by 4%.
