Estonia registers third lowest fuel price in EU in June

The retail price of 95-octane gasoline in Latvia at the beginning of June 2015 was EUR 1,211.69 per 1,000 liters, which is the fifth lowest indicator in the European Union (EU), reports LETA, according to data on fuel prices in the EU provided by the European Commission.

In Lithuania, the price of 95-octane gasoline at the beginning of June was EUR 1,269.34 per 1,000 liters, which is the eighth lowest in the EU; in Estonia – EUR 1,190 per 1,000 liters, which is the third lowest price.

 

The data represent the average fuel prices in the EU as of June 1.

 

The highest price of 95-octane gasoline at the beginning of June was registered in the Netherlands (EUR 1,638 per 1,000 liters); the lowest – in Bulgaria (EUR 1,168.83 per 1,000 liters).

 

The average price of 95-octane gasoline in the EU on June 1 was EUR 1,479.21 per 1,000 liters; in the eurozone – EUR 1.489.21 per 1,000 liters.

 

At the same time, the retail price of diesel fuel in Latvia at the beginning of June was EUR 1,133.88 per 1,000 liters, which is the second lowest level in the EU.

 

The cheapest diesel fuel was in Luxembourg (EUR 1,091.16 per 1,000 liters); the most expensive – in Great Britain (EUR 1,686.46 per 1,000 liters).

 

In Estonia, the price of diesel fuel at the beginning of June was EUR 1,147 per 1,000 liters, which is the third lowest price in the EU; in Lithuania – EUR 1,169.42 per 1,000 liters, which is the fifth lowest price.

 

The average price of diesel fuel in the EU on June 1 was EUR 1,310.49 per 1,000 liters; in the eurozone – EUR 1,271.04 per 1,000 liters.
