In April, the producer price of industrial output in Estonia decreased by 0.6%

According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by –0.6% compared to March 2015 and by –1,3% compared to April 2014.

In April, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of electronic products, in the manufacture of wood and wood products and in the manufacture of food products, but also by an increase in prices in mining and in the manufacture of textile products.

 

Compared to April 2014, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of electronic products, food products and fuel oils, but also by an increase in prices in mining.

In April 2015, the export price index changed by –0.2% compared to March 2015 and by –3.4% compared to April 2014.

 

In April, compared to the previous month, the prices of electronic products, beverages and furniture decreased more than average, while the prices of peat products, oil products and metals increased more than average.

 

In April 2015, the import price index changed by 1.2% compared to March 2015 and by –2.0% compared to April 2014.

 

In April, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, oil and chemical products increased more than average, while the prices of wood and agricultural products and metals decreased more than average.
