In February, producer price index of industrial output in Estonia decreased by 2.7% y-o-y

According to Statistics Estonia, in February 2015, the producer price index of industrial output changed by –0.9% compared to January 2015 and by –2.7% compared to February 2014.

In February, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of electronic products and food products, but also by an increase in prices in the manufacture of refined petroleum products.

 

Compared to February 2014, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of electronic products, in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of food products, but also by an increase in prices in the manufacture of metal products and in mining.

In February 2015, the export price index changed by 0.6% compared to January 2015 and by –4.7% compared to February 2014.

 

In February, compared to the previous month, the prices of oil products, agricultural products and paper and paper products increased more than average, while the prices of chemical products, electricity and electronic products decreased more than average.

 

In February 2015, the import price index changed by 0.5% compared to January 2015 and by –4.9% compared to February 2014.

 

In February, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, oil products, beverages and wearing apparel increased more than average, while the prices of building materials, chemical products and food products decreased more than average.
