Latvian industrial production decreased, Estonia and Lithuania increased in December y-o-y

In December 2014, compared with December 2013, industrial production volume in Latvia reduced by 0.5%, which is the smallest decrease among all the European Union (EU) member states for which data are available, reports LETA, according to latest information provided by Eurostat.

The largest increase in industrial production in December 2014, compared with December 2013, was registered in Ireland – 18.2%, Estonia – 7.6%, and Poland – 5.7%.

 

The largest decrease was registered in Greece – 4.2%, Malta – 3.8%, and Portugal – 3.1%.

 

In Lithuania, industrial production in December 2014, compared with December 2013, increased by 2.7%.

 

Industrial production in December 2014, compared with December 2013, decreased in eight countries, increased in 14, and was the same in Germany and Great Britain.

 

In all EU member states, for which data are available, industrial production increased by 0.3% in December, in eurozone – decreased by 0.2%.
