Problems with Telia Latvija Internet services began at about 11 a.m. today. According to the company, the reason is a damaged optical cable near Riga that ensures data transmission between Latvia and Europe as well as Asian countries.
The company's experts are currently working at the scene, whereas Internet traffic managed by the company has been rerouted using other lines.
Telia Latvjia was established in 1992; the company offers cloud computing, data center, Internet, data transmission and other IT services. Telia Latvija is part of the Swedish telecommunications group TeliaSonera AB.
