A polling company GfK and marketing agency PRB study indicated that Facebook has ousted other social networks on the internet among Estonians, LETA/Õhtuleht online reports.

65% of Estonian web users visit Facebook at least once a week. 80% of the visitors are up to 39 years old, 60% of up to 65-year-olds use it.

The second-most popular environment is YouTube, which is visited at least once a week by 61% of web users and 83% of people up to the age of 29.

Other social networks are used far less frequently. Just 5% of people use Twitter at least once a week. The once hugely popular rate.ee is also visited by 5% of Internet users a week and Orkut has even fewer weekly visitors.

During the web poll, 574 people in the age of 15-65 were polled.
