Thousands Estonian videogame players became victims of Trion Worlds hackers

Print versionEstonian Data Protection Inspection announced n Tuesday that the Trion Worlds video games database has been attacked and as the result, data of 3,000 Estonian user accounts leaked too, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht writes.

The database was attacked and it is thought that a whole 3.3 million user names, encrypted passwords, data on users birthdates, e-mails, bank accounts, credit cards leaked.
Data Protection Inspection adviser Stiina Liivrand said that although so far, no direct complaints have been submitted by Estonian users, they decided to inform of the attack since the number of clients is so big. Account holders should definitely change passwords.
Trion Worlds said that so far it has not been confirmed that all of the credit card data leaked.
