Latvia’s HansaMatrix increases its participation in LightSpace Technologies capital to 33.07%

Latvia’s high-technology company HansaMatrix has increased its participation in LightSpace Technologies capital from 17.07% to 33.07%, according to the company’s statement to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

HansaMatric representatives said that on April 21, 2017, HansaMatrix signed a joint investment agreement with AIF Imprimatur Capital Technology Venture Fund to provide next round investment of EUR 799,365 in LightSpace Technologies. HansaMatrix share in this investment round is EUR 649,635 and after this round participation increases to 33.07%.


The investments will be used by LightSpace Technologies to continue development of unique optically deep volumetric 3D image display technologies and customer application development. LightSpace Technologies are developing optically deep 3D image display technology with main uses in medicine, scientific visualization and AR/MR applications.


LightSpace Technologies now belongs to HansaMatrix (33.07%), BaltCap Latvia Venture Capital Fund (27.13%), AIF Imprimatur Capital Technology Venture Fund (19.37%), Swedish Hornell Teknikivest (14.21%), and AIF Imprimatur Capital Seed Fund (6.21%), according to Firmas.lv business database.


LightSpace Technologies was founded in 2014. In 2016 the company posted EUR 8,199 in turnover, and sustained loss worth EUR 171,378.
