Click & Grow puts wall farms on the market

The Estonian startup Click & Grow on Wednesday launched Wall Farm, a novel product optimizing plant cultivation automatically, reports LETA/BNS.

Wall Farm features ultra-efficient grow lights and electronic precision irrigation that makes it possible to use up to 95% less water than traditional farming methods, Mattias Lepp, founder of Click & Grow, said.


Click & Grow's specially developed nanomaterial, Smart Soil, keeps the level of oxygen, water, acidity or alkalinity, and nutritional ingredients at an optimal level. It is made of natural renewable sources and is biodegradable. No pesticides, fungicides or herbicides are used to grow the plants.


"Looking at how quickly the prices of fresh food are rising in today's world and how much low quality food saturated with poison is still being consumed now we are especially satisfied with out farms today," Lepp said.


Click & Grow's Wall Farm is suited for homes and businesses alike and can be used also in restaurants, kindergartens and schools.


The wall farms come in two sizes the cheaper of which is available at a special price of 199 dollars on the occasion of the launch.


Click & Grow, established by Mattias Lepp in 2011, has sold more than 300,000 smart plant growing kits so far.
