Producer prices in the Latvian industry in July increased by 2.1% y-o-y

Compared to June, the overall level of producer prices in the Latvian industry in July 2012 increased by 0.5%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia. Compared to July 2011, the overall level of producer prices in the Latvian industry in July 2012 increased by 2.1%.

Swedbank has raised Latvia's gross domestic product (GDP) forecast for 2012 to 4%. The growth of Lithuanian economy, which in the second quarter of 2012 slowed down to 2.1%, bottomed out and will not keep on decreasing more.
