Construction volume in Latvia grew by 3.9% in Q1
15.08.2012According to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau, construction volume at current prices in the 2nd quarter of 2012 comprised LVL 230.8 million. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2012, construction volume in the 2nd quarter of 2012 increased by 3.9%.

Foreign trade of Latvia in January-June increased by 13.5%
15.08.2012Provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau show that in the first half of 2012 the total value of goods in foreign trade of Latvia at current prices reached LVL 7189.0 mln – an increase of LVL 857.8 mln or 13.5% as compared to January – June 2011. Of which export volume increased by LVL 295.3 million or 10.5%, whereas import volume – by LVL 562.5 million or 16.0%.
