Compared to April 2012, manufacturing turnover at current prices (according to seasonally adjusted data) in May 2012 has increased by 3.3%, of which in domestic market by 2.3% and in export – by 4.2%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.

Today, Latvia's largest fuel retailers raised their diesel prices, but left gasoline prices unchanged. Statoil and Lukoil increased diesel prices by one santim to LVL 0.909 and LVL 0.898 per liter respectively. Neste diesel prices were raised by two santims to LVL 0.897 per liter.

Foreign citizens amount to 1 percent of Lithuanian population

In 2011 the percentage of foreign citizens in Lithuania was only 1 percent, Eurostat the statistical office of the European Union, said. Foreign citizens and foreign-born population EU citizens living in another Member State accounted for 2.5 percent of the EU population in 201. Non EU citizens made up 4.1 percent of the EU population.

According to the Finland’s Population register, 34,006 Estonian residents had been registered as residents of Finland as of end of 2011, writes the National Broadcasting.
