Annual inflation in Latvia comprised 1.9% in June 2012
09.07.2012Compared to May 2012, the average consumer price level in Latvia in June 2012 decreased by 0.1%. Prices of goods fell by 0.3%, but prices of services – rose by 0.6%. Compared to June of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 1.9%.

09.07.2012According to the data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSB), in 2011 average costs of forest regeneration comprised from LVL 313 to LVL 435 per ha, depending on the forest land quality group. Average costs of forest regeneration per hectare are influenced by the soil preparation, small sapling expenses and planting costs. The highest soil preparation and planting costs in 2011 were recorded in the forest land of 3rd quality group*.
Liepaja Port cargo turnover grew by 48.6% in H1

The joint-stock gas supply company Itera Latvija achieved LVL 119.63 million in consolidated turnover in 2011, 46.6% more than in 2010, when the company's turnover amounted to LVL 81.6 million, according to the Register of Enterprises' Lursoft data.
