Cargo handling at the Baltic Eastern ports grew by 9% in January-April
13.06.2012Throughout the analysed period the overall cargo handling in the Baltic Eastern Seaports totalled 115 521,4 thou. tn, the year-on-year change is +9,0% or +9 580,6 thou. tn. Basic cargo categories that had made the biggest impact on this growth were as follows: coal (+3 552,0 thou. tn yoy), crude oil (+2 421,7 thou. tn yoy), oil products (+1 617,6 thou. tn yoy) and containerised cargoes (+1 418,8 thou. tn yoy), reports BC press service of Klaipeda port.
