Foreign trade turnover value in Latvia increased by 15.1% in January-April
11.06.2012Provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau show that the total foreign trade turnover at current prices in April 2012 comprised LVL 1190.1 million – 4.2% or LVL 52.5 million less than month ago and 11.9% or LVL 126.6 million more than in April 2011.

Manufacturing turnover in Latvia decreased by 1.3% in May
11.06.2012According to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau, manufacturing turnover1 (according to seasonally adjusted data at current prices) in April 2012, as compared to March 2012, decreased by 1.3%, of which in domestic market – by 0.2% and in export – by 2.2%.
Harmonised average annual inflation in Lithuania made 3.9% in May

In April the number of tourists in Estonian accommodation establishments increased by 5%

Exports from Estonia decreased by 7% and imports to Estonia by 4% in April
11.06.2012According to Statistics Estonia, in April 2012, exports of goods from Estonia decreased by 7% and imports to Estonia by 4% at current prices compared to April of the previous year. Compared to the same month of the previous year, exports decreased already for the second month in succession, which is also influenced by the high comparison basis last year. Trade decreased also compared to March.
Around EUR 0.7 mln to promote Visaginas NPP
Company Visaginas Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) implementing the Visaginas NPP project is going to allocate around LTL 3 million (EUR 0.7 million) to promotion of the project.
Dzintars Zakis will repurchase his car from the company
