In the 4th quarter of 2011 and in 2011 as a whole the volume of freights carried by all types of transport has increased, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau.
The average monthly gross wages and salaries in the country in 2011 comprised LVL 464, and it is LVL 19 or 4.4% more than in 2010, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB). In public sector the increase comprised 4.7% (from LVL 470 to LVL 493), of which in general government sector – 4.9% (from LVL 433 to LVL 454) and in private sector – 4.6% (from LVL 427 to LVL 447).
Compared to the December 2011, construction costs in Latvia in January 2012 rose on average by 0.7%, according to the data of the Central Statistical Bureau. In comparison with January of the previous year, the construction costs rose by 4.5%.
