Ziemelis' company buys Siemens, Cido arenas, ticket seller Tiketa12.10.2020
Gediminas Ziemelis, a shareholder and board chairman of the aviation business group Avia Solutions Group, is acquiring the companies operating the Siemens arena in Vilnius and Cido arena in Panevezys as well as ticket selling company Tiketa, informs LETA/BNS.

Provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau show that in August 2020 the foreign trade turnover of Latvia amounted to EUR 2.31 bn, which at current prices was 4.3% less than a year ago, of which the exports value of goods dropped by 3.7 %, but imports value of goods – by 4.8%. In August Latvia exported goods in the amount of EUR 1.07 bn, but imported – in the amount of EUR 1.23 bn. Compared to August 2019, foreign trade balance has improved slightly as exports in total foreign trade amount increased from 46.3% to 46.6%.

Apartment prices in Soviet-era standard design houses in Riga continued to drop in September 2020, with the average price declining 0.2% from August and sliding 1.7% from the beginning of the year, Arco Real Estate said in its latest report on the market of standard-design apartments, cites LETA.

The number of registered unemployed in Estonia was 49,093 at the end of September 2020, 0.5% higher than the month before, making up 7.6% of the total number of workforce from age 16 to retirement age, informs LETA/BNS.
